Loyiso V Saliso is a highly driven Feminist, Activist and public speaker and an Anti-Gender Based Violence advocate who is passionate about gender and social justice activism who is motivated by serving others. She believes in leading change that makes a positive impact and is part of the solutions to our societal social injustices. Loyiso is the Founder and Projects Coordinator of Khanyisa Ikamva Projects, a non-profit company that works with womxn, children and youth who are affected directly or indirectly by abuse, inequality and oppression in marginalized communities. In addition to this, she is the former Regional Secretary and Regional Chairperson of the national non-partisan organization InkuluFreeHeid.
Loyiso is one of the initiators and a National Steering Committee Member of #TheTotalShutdown Intersectional Womxn and Gender Non-Conforming Folk Movement, a board Member at the Unako Literacy Movement and a Gender Representative at the South African NGO Coalition in Port Elizabeth.
