Brenda has been involved in television, drama and documentary production for over 30 years, working as a director, producer, commissioning editor, script writer and format developer. She has worked for broadcasters in the UK, Canada, South Africa, the US and Australia. She worked in user design on digital platform development for start-ups in the UK and South Africa. She has been working at CCI since August 2014, during which time she has participated in the development of numerous behaviour change and demand creation mass and social media campaigns focused on HIV testing, treatment and adherence, VMMC, condom use and rape prevention. She has piloted the implementation of new digital strategies for CCI, primarily content driven social media engagement in demand creation and behavior change through Facebook. She holds a BA from Wits University and an MBA from Cass Business School, London and completed the Leadership in Strategic Communications course at Johns Hopkins Centre for Communication Programs.
